It is my privilege to welcome you to the Indian Orthopaedic Neurology
Association (IONA). IONA is an academic forum dedicated to advancing the
integration of neurological sciences within orthopaedic practice to improve
patient outcomes nationwide.
Contemporary musculoskeletal care increasingly requires multidisciplinary
collaboration—especially in spine disorders, neurotrauma, peripheral nerve
conditions, deformity correction, rehabilitation, and complex orthopaedic
cases with neurological involvement. IONA was founded to bring together
orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists, neurosurgeons, spine specialists,
rehabilitation physicians, and researchers to share knowledge, foster
innovation, and develop best practices.
Our mission is to promote academic excellence through evidence-based
practice, research, education, and meaningful professional interaction. By
encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative learning, we aim to
raise the standard of Ortho‑Neurological care across India.
I invite all members and colleagues to engage actively in our academic
programs, contribute to research and teaching initiatives, and help build a
strong, forward-looking scientific community.
